Mother's Day started at midnight, May 10 in Mexico. It's a Big Event in Mexican culture. In the gentleman's club, Hong Kong, the female employees stopped working and were treated to food, and the ones that are mothers were given gifts and prizes...there was a Mariachi band and other singing, and then four mal strippers took to the stage. In a fascinating reversal of social business roles in sex work, the strippers cheered and threw dollar bills at the men.

At the pottery place - new one on me but a lot of fun - you choose a item of pottery in just the raw clay state and then you decorate it however you want and they fire it then you collect it later - interesting way of making a unique gift... and so great for Mother's Day (kudos to Sarah for planning & organizing this amazing day)
